FIELD OPERATOR II
- Install, commission, inspect, maintain, and repair artificial lift systems and associated equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Complete field service reports, maintenance records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding equipment status and operational needs.
- Assist with equipment loading, unloading, inventory control, and shop activities as required.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to customer service requests outside normal working hours when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is preferred.
- Previous oilfield service or mechanical field experience, preferably with artificial lift systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, and travel to remote locations as required.
- Experience working with pumping units and artificial lift equipment in oilfield operations.
- Knowledge of oilfield safety standards and industry best practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced field environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work for extended periods in outdoor environments.
- Comfortable working at heights and around heavy industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and dust.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
