Receiving Clerk
- Receives goods, verifies item order consistency, and inspects condition of goods.
- Verify packing lists, invoices and purchase orders to ensure correctness of deliveries.
- Unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse ensuring items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Accurately enter received goods into Oracle ERP system.
- Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies and adjusts errors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving area.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or receiving role preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
On-site in warehouse setting with exposure to temperature changes, loud noises and moving equipment. Position requires the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm Address: 8500 Hansen Rd, Houston, TX 77075
