Your New Role

Survitec Group Houston is looking for a detail-oriented, good communicator with technical background to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting liferaft service technicians' activities within their designated service station and to ensure safety, reliability and technical excellence.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Assist technicians in the service, repair, and maintenance of liferaft service equipment
• Coordinate with the supervisor and others to complete projects/ work orders efficiently
• Attend on the job training and other training opportunities.
• Delivery of liferaft equipment to various locations
• Obtain and maintain certifications required of the position within guidelines
• Follow all safety and precautionary measures while operating equipment
• Responsible for communicating technical deficiencies or improvement notices, and assisting management with follow up, and corrective actions, as needed

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

• 1-2 years prior technical, mechanical or assembly experience
• Computer Literate (Ms Office)

• Marine industry background is desirable
