JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Hardware Warehouse

REPORTS TO: Operations Planning Manager

SHIFTS: Day (8:00AM 5:00PM)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receives incoming product, tools, equipment and material. Review packing slips for accuracy by matching against purchase orders. Update company systems immediately upon receipt.
Manage warehouse inventory to avoid shortages: hardware, packaging materials, oil products, raw materials
Inspect incoming product for damaged material and advise appropriate department management.
Develop, implement, and monitor loss prevention plans to ensure compliance with company standards
Notify appropriate department of received product. Ensure delivery of inventory stores and materials.
Prepares shipping documents in a timely and accurate manor. Verify proper shipping labels are affixed to the product.
Record shipped finished goods ensuring inventor system accurately reflects inventory adjustment.
Prepare bills of lading in accordance with the freight carrier requirements.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Conduct physical inventory and/or cycle counting as requested.
Prepare various reports, records and filing as requested.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

2-4 years of direct experience in a warehouse

1-2 year,s experience managing employees

Must be bilingual in English/Mandarin

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency with inventory tracking software

Desired: Bachelors degree in Suppy Chain or any relevant field but experience will be primary factor

Safety related OSHA training, ISO Quality Training, and Forklift Certification are a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
General: Ability to walk, stand, and move through the production floor for extended periods.
Strength & Endurance: May regularly lift up to 50 lbs., sometimes more with assistance. May push or pull equipment, materials, or carts up to 75 lbs.
Mobility & Flexibility: Frequent bending, stooping, or kneeling. May occasionally climb ladders or platforms to access employee work areas.
Sensory Requirements: Must have sufficient hearing to detect alarms, machines sounds, and instructions in a noisy environment.
Environmental Conditions: Must be able to work in a warehouse environment which is not always climate controlled.
