Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to join our client’s business office team in Dallas, TX. This contract-to-hire role focuses on securing prior authorizations for diagnostic and infusion services while supporting other revenue cycle functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prior authorizations for MRIs, infusions, and EEGs
• Handle 30–40 authorizations per day with accuracy and timeliness
• Assist financial counseling team and cover other RCM tasks when needed
• Take patient calls to answer questions and provide scheduling support
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Prior authorization experience required (infusion experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with ECW (eClinicalWorks) or similar EMR systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume tasks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience in a physician office setting preferred
