Property Damage Attorney (Houston)

We are seeking an experienced Property Damage Attorney, preferably plaintiff side, licensed in Texas, to join our expanding team.

This is a full-time remote role , but the candidate must be based in Texasideally in the Dallas or Houston areas.

$105,000 - $150,000 yearly

• Counsel clients on available options and develop case strategies designed for successful resolution
• Spot potential conflicts and outline solutions tailored to client needs
• Conduct legal research; draft briefs, motions, and pleadings
• Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients in hearings, trials, and mediations
• Oversee and support paralegals, clerks, and administrative staff involved in cases
• Handle a docket of first-party property insurance cases from start to finishperform case evaluations, craft litigation plans, and manage all phases of discovery
• Maintain proactive client communication by providing updates, gathering case details, and advising on strategy
• Prepare settlement proposals and engage in negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties
• Deliver thorough case assessments and present legal recommendations internally and to clients

• Candidate MUST live in Texas. Dallas or Houston area, preferably
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar is required
• 35 years of recent property litigation experience , preferably first-party plaintiff
• Strong research and writing skills, with proficiency in Westlaw and Lexis
• Familiarity with case management software
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple files independently
• Must be able to travel throughout Texas for court events as needed
