Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: San Angelo, Texas 76903 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist Contract
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00), 40 hours per week
• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (hospital or travel healthcare experience preferred)
• VI (Vascular Interventional) registration required
• Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS (Basic Life Support), Texas State Radiology License
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete compliance documentation and labs within required timeframes
• Previous charge technologist experience preferred

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment (CT, MRI, Dexa, Diagnostic, Siemens systems)
• Assist with patient preparation, access site prep, and maintain sterile technique
• Provide clinical support and care for patients across all age groups, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain inventory, stock radiology supplies, and ensure equipment readiness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in PACS and electronic health record systems
