Position Overview
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall performance and operations of the dealership, including sales, service, and finance departments. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can motivate teams, manage resources, and drive profitability while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales and profit targets
- Ensure compliance with Ford Motor Company policies and procedures
- Lead and develop department managers and staff
- Analyze financial reports and adjust strategies to meet performance goals
- Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and adjust inventory and marketing accordingly
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working at a Ford dealership (required)
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of dealership financials
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High ethical standards and customer-focused mindset
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
