Job Summary and Qualifications

Directs and coordinates the activities of Respiratory Care Practitioners. Assists the department director/manager with assignments of shift activities and follow-up to ensure that assignments are completed as ordered by the physicians. Provides and oversees delivery of respiratory care to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients. May act as interim manager during absence of department director and manager.

What qualifications you will need:

A. Education:

• Associates degree required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care preferred.

B. Experience:

• 4 years RRT, 2 years supervisory experience preferred

• Special Skills/Qualifications: Ability to listen, interact and communicate verbally and in writing

C.Licensure/certification/registration:

• RRT w/NBRC, RCP license certified by TX and BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP required
