We are seeking a bilingual, detail-oriented and experienced Payroll / Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering positive employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, Quickbooks, and the ability to handle sensitive information accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time using Quickbooks.
• Maintain and update employee records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Evaluate employee overtime and payroll vs sales to send to management team..
• Manage benefits administration tasks including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable related to payroll expenses and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing tax filings and managing related documentation.
• Support employee relations initiatives by addressing payroll-related inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with management teams to help enforce employee training, manuals and policies
• Receive, audit & report any employee and customer incidents
• Order staff uniforms
• Monitor employee tenures, require and review timely evaluations

Skills

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office
• Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing and reporting requirements.
• Excellent detail for accurate record keeping and follow up.
• Confidence in the ability to have difficult conversations and be firm as needed to enforce policies and procedures
• Analytical skills for financial analysis and reporting related to payroll activities.
• Understanding of general human resources functions related to employee relations within a corporate environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
