Muttz is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Daycare Attendant / Bark-Ranger to join our team. If you have a love for DOGS, a passion for delivering exceptional guest service, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply for this role.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our guests and their furry companions have a safe, clean and experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will play a crucial role in creating a safe environment for all visitors to our dog park and daycare. Shifts will vary between weekday day care and weekend bark ranger duties.

Responsibilities:

• Play and entertain dogs, providing them with attention, care, and exercise throughout their visit.
• Patrol the park, actively observing dog behavior to prevent and promptly address any potential conflicts or dog fights.
• Monitor and replenish freshwater stations for dogs, ensuring they always have access to clean and refreshing water.
• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly smile, providing a positive first impression.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the park area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. Including cleaning furniture, bathrooms and disinfecting wash station.
• Keep dog water features clean and well-maintained.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, effectively communicating with guests both in-person and via phone.
• Possess excellent organizational skills to monitor the park and area, ensuring everything is in order and meeting our standards.
• Check in guests and provide them with information about our Membership program, explaining the benefits and answering any questions they may have.
• Maintain good physical condition to comfortably walk and stand outside throughout the entire shift, regardless of weather conditions.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including obtaining TABC and Food Handler certifications.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with dog behavior and previous experience in a dog centric business is preferred.
• Demonstrable customer-service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and memorable experience to guests.
• Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone, to effectively interact with guests and address their inquiries or concerns.
• Strong organizational skills to monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the park area.
• Good physical condition, allowing you to perform the duties of walking and standing for extended periods in an outdoor environment.
• Willingness to comply with all food and beverage regulations, including obtaining TABC and Food Handler certifications as required.
