Job Summary and Qualifications

* This is a PRN position to work 1 - 3 days per week as census increases. Dept. hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm. Hours worked may vary from 6 -10 hours per day depending on census/PTO coverage *

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will apply the plan of care for rehabilitation to meet the needs of inpatients and out-patients. The incumbent will reinforce principles of health promotion and serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients for all phases of rehab. The patient population most common will be cardiac patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors Degree in exercise physiology, exercise science or related degree, Master's Degree preferred
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire or transfer issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
• Experience in exercise testing, training and prescription with apparently healthy individuals as well as patient populations and group teaching skills are required

We offer complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options.
