Licensing and Training Specialist

Position Summary
This position will be responsible for ensuring all licensing and trainings are in line with NCIS and RMA standards, for all employees and agents at Advanced AgProtection. They will also monitor and track training hours for agents and adjusters, as needed. The Licensing/Training Specialist will also work with the Director of Operations to establish and maintain training documents for all positions at Advanced AgProtection.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for tracking training hours for agents and adjusters
- Verify license information for agents and adjusters.
- Research license requirements for agents and adjusters
- Work with proper management teams to establish adjuster trainings.
- Establish company-wide trainings in line with NCIS and RMA policies and procedures.
- Maintain and renew AAP license in all states and federal requirements
- Monitor executive management license
- Research policy and procedures documents to design comprehensive and effective learning solutions
- Use a variety of instructional design techniques and design practices and principals to design and develop learning solutions
- Develop material for a variety of delivery formats
- Update and revise training materials on an ongoing basis
- Travel will be required for specific training sessions
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Experience developing and delivering training materials
- Knowledge of the trainings and certifications needed in the crop insurance industry
- Project management and time management skills
- Organized and highly motivated while maintaining multiple other tasks
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience & Education Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a similar field OR 5+ years of insurance experience with emphasis in licensing/training
- Experience in the crop industry, with experience developing crop insurance training is a plus
