Were seeking a Senior OpenShift Consultant with deep experience deploying and supporting OpenShift on Bare Metal in an enterprise environment. This is a fully onsite engagement in Plano, TX (~1040 hours) , supporting a high-visibility implementation. Candidates must be comfortable interfacing directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Role Overview
- Lead and support OpenShift Bare Metal deployment and day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with client teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and document platform performance
- Act as a key technical advisor during meetings, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions
- Contribute to solution design, architecture, and hands-on implementation
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift , including bare metal installation and configuration
- Strong understanding of Linux (RHEL), containerization (Docker/Podman), networking, and storage concepts
- Solid grasp of cluster lifecycle management, scaling, and high availability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills this is a customer-facing role
- Experience with Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
