We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Management and Planning Manager I to join our team in Houston, TX. This position plays a critical role in overseeing key planning and management activities that support successful execution of business operations and project performance. The role includes strategic planning, cost analysis, coordination with HQ, and reporting functions related to ongoing operations in large-scale industrial construction projects.
Your duties will include:
- Support mid-to-long term business strategy development and annual operation planning for the organization.
- Conduct cost and budget analysis for major construction projects and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with HQ to develop, analyze, and deliver key management reports and presentations.
- Review and analyze data related to project performance, resource allocation, and financial trends.
- Assist with business communication and translation (Korean <-> English) for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with construction sites and corporate leadership to ensure effective coordination and information sharing.
- Maintain documentation and support the preparation of reports, meeting materials, and decision memos.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and assignments as directed by the Director of Business Planning.
Your qualifications are as follows:
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business planning, project management, cost control, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Native-level Korean proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience in the construction, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Familiarity with Korean corporate culture and project communication protocols.
- Understanding of project cost structures and KPI-based performance evaluation.
- Willingness to work overtime or on weekends if necessary.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills.
- Capable of commuting to the Houston office reliably.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
