Position Summary:
HumCap's client is seeking a high-performing Senior HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive human resources support across a multi-office organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives while managing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, resourceful, and passionate about building strong teams and fostering a high-performance culture.This position combines tactical HR responsibilities with strategic partnership, including full-cycle recruiting , employee engagement , compliance , and HR operations . It requires someone who can independently manage talent acquisition and contribute to broader organizational development efforts. Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for legal and operational roles across multiple offices.
- Proactively source and manage candidate pipelines using creative strategies.
- Forecast hiring needs and execute recruitment plans aligned with business goals.
- Own internal recruitment efforts to reduce reliance on external agencies.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll, and HRIS processes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations and HR inquiries.
- Support performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, particularly in Texas and California.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies that support organizational growth.
- Contribute to change management and cultural development across offices.
- Provide insights on market trends, talent needs, and process improvements.
- Partner with office managers and leaders across locations to support HR and recruitment activities.
- Occasional travel required to support regional offices.
- 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in professional services or legal environments.
- Proven success in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in California and Texas.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or California-specific) preferred.
