Nurse Practitioners in our primary care setting provide comprehensive health services with moderate patient caseloads under supervised autonomy. They play a pivotal role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care coordination to promote overall health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and histories
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Manage medication prescriptions and adjustments
- Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
- Provide follow-up care and evaluate treatment effectiveness
- Respond effectively to clinical emergencies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Active Nurse Practitioner license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in clinical assessment and patient care
- Knowledgeable in pharmacology and medication management
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Effective time management and team collaboration abilities
