Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service a wide range of equipment, including rental machinery, mining equipment, and trucks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping all equipment safe and operational for daily use. This position requires mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Rental Equipment:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair generators, lifts, excavators, and other rental equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is ready for customer use.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service logs.

Mining Equipment:

• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on drills, loaders, haul trucks, crushers, and other mining machinery.
• Ensure all mining equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with mining teams to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Trucking Equipment:

• Maintain and repair light-duty, heavy-duty, and specialized trucks.
• Diagnose and fix engine, transmission, suspension, and other critical systems.
• Ensure trucks are roadworthy through regular inspections and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system repairs.
• Previous experience with rental equipment, mining, or trucking preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex machinery.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
