SHIFT TIMES: 18 hours on Monday, 12 hours Tues-Sun.
SPECIAL SERVICES include General surgery, OB-GYN, Orthopedic, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Nephrology, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Pulmonology. Partial coverage for ENT, OMFS, Urology, GI.
Coverage Type: Scheduled hours.
Schedule Details: 7a-7p, 7p-7a.
Work Details: Facility Type: Medical Center, Trauma level 4.
EMR/Charting Software: Cerner.
Vaccines Mandatory: Current flu vaccination, COVID, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, TB.
Average Daily Census: 19 EMS, 18 admitted daily.
Beds: ED - 12 monitored beds, 2 fast track, 6 hall beds, total 161 beds in hospital.
Procedures: Run codes primarily for airway/central lines.

Requirements

• Board Certifications Required/Preferred: ABFM and ABIM accepted.
• State Licenses: Must have active TX license to begin hospital application.
• Certifications: If not boarded, must have ACLS, ATLS, AHA (preferred).

Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days, file should be complete a week before meetings.
Willing to license? No.
Travel covered.
Must complete an ACGME accredited residency program.
Expedited locum privileges available.

Shift Info

Day: 3x12-Hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:00.
