RN Case Manager Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Case Manager
• Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78412 (Texas nursing jobs)
• Facility Setting: Med/Surg, Case Management Unit (Bay Area Campus)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 30, 2025 – September 29, 2025)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (08:00 – 16:30), 40 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Float Requirement: Occasional float to 4Tele and ICU for clinical support
• Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1620 - $1660

RN Case Manager Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in RN case management
• Proficiency with MIDAS, Meditech, Care Port Discharge, Outlook, Excel, Interqual, and Word
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexible, adaptable, quick learner, and strong team player
• Preferred: Experience with HCA Case Management, NATE familiarity, and HCA MDRs

RN Case Manager Responsibilities

• Complete discharge planning assessments within one day of patient admission (face-to-face and phone)
• Perform Interqual reviews for clinical support and compliance
• Coordinate with home health, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehab, long-term acute care, IV infusion, and DME referrals
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and pass downs
• Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Float to assist other nursing units as needed
