Claims Supplemental Estimate Writer

: ** This is a remote role.. We are looking for an experienced Virtual Assist Writer who can take initiative and is comfortable working independently. If you have experience with auto repair, prioritize time management and strong negotiating skills, come join our team today!** Job Summary: Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role specifically handles supplements and virtual calls from auto repair facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
• Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits
• Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory duties Preferred Qualifications: Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 2 or more years of related experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required

Functional Skills

• Possess knowledge of estimatics software (Mitchell/CCC/Audatex, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate electronic devices including computers, cameras and cell phones
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess effective skills in time management, organization, and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to adhere to project deadlines and remain flexible in a changing environment

The base range offered for the role is: $57,500 - $74,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.
