Kitchen Lead/ Warehouse
Location: Lewisville, TX 75057
Hours: 1st shift / as early as 5:30am.
Pay: $17/hr starting pay/ DOE Open availability, including weekends and holidays
Bilingual (fluency not required, but must be able to communicate effectively with management) We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Lead to oversee kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality food in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high levels of performance and morale.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring workload distribution is equitable and efficient.
Provide guidance and support to resolve any issues or conflicts within the team. Production Oversight:
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Resource Management:
Assist in scheduling production activities and allocate resources (including manpower, equipment, and materials) efficiently to meet production targets with production supervisor.
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in production efficiency and cost reduction. Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Address any deviations from quality standards promptly, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
Collaborate with the quality control team to implement and maintain quality management systems. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality metric on production log sheet.
Prepare reports on production performance, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement. (continuous improvement)
Communicate production status and issues to management team in a timely manner.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Performs all other duties as assigned. Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work in a cold and noisy environment.
Position requires frequent sitting or standing for long periods of time with occasional reaching, walking, lifting, grasping, bending and twisting, cold environment.
Must be capable of understanding work instructions in English, both oral and written.
Must be able to distinguish colors to perform analysis. Requirements
