ROLE IMPACT
This role provides advanced administrative and clerical support across multiple city departments, ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication, and efficient office operations. The Office Assistant III acts as a key liaison between staff, citizens, and vendors, contributing to payroll, customer service, and internal coordination.

Compensation & Schedule
• $17.82/hour
• Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform advanced administrative duties including payroll support, cash handling, and travel arrangements
• Prepare, proofread, and review correspondence, reports, and memos for supervisor sign-off
• Provide receptionist services, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting the public
• Train and support other Office Assistants, sharing expertise and ensuring task accuracy
• Maintain organized filing systems, process invoices, manage mail distribution, and track departmental deadlines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years administrative or office support experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience handling confidential documents and customer inquiries
