Guest Service Lead
Stable Hall, located at Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, is a new 1,000 capacity music venue opening in January 2024. Built as a horse stable 1894, it has seen three centuries on its journey to become a state-of-the-art music venue that channels both a classic theater and a Texas dance hall. The programming will feature national, regional and local artists in all genres and brings a commitment to showcase and energize San Antonio's rich past and present music culture. Job Title: Stable Hall Guest Service Lead, music venue
Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a music venue Guest Service Lead. As the frontline representative of our music venue, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for our patrons. This role involves leading a team of guest service staff, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of guest service representatives to deliver outstanding service.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff knowledge of venue policies, events, and guest service best practices.
- Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and events.
- Guest Experience:
- Foster a welcoming and friendly environment for patrons.
- Handle escalated guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain guest service standards to exceed guest expectations.
- Operations Management:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as security, bar staff, and technical teams, to ensure smooth event operations.
- Assist with ticketing processes and assist with resolving ticket-related issues with the Box Office
- Manage VIP and special guest services, ensuring a high level of personalized attention.
- Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to relay customer feedback, address concerns, and implement improvements.
- Work closely with Box Office and Operations teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching to improve customer service skills for self and staff.
- Develop and update customer service manuals and guidelines.
- Implement strategies to enhance staff performance and promote a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in guest service management, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of the music industry and events coordination is a plus.
Details:
- $20/hour
- 16-30 hours a week
- Friday and Saturday nights, occasional weekday nights. 3-11pm.
