About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience, with previous charge experience required. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required. Must-Have: - Ability to function as a fully independent staff nurse with a standard patient ratio of 1:6. - Capability to assume charge nurse responsibilities independently. - Broad clinical competency to care for patients ranging from 1 month of age through end of life. - Experience in telemetry nursing. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. The assigned nurse must provide care for patients with varying diagnoses. The nurse will be responsible for overseeing the operational workflow of the unit and the adult ICU. Charge responsibilities do not involve direct ICU patient care but require coordination across multiple departments. The work schedule includes 6 weekend shifts within each 6-week schedule. The nurse must be prepared for a standard patient care ratio of 1:6. Experience in a travel nursing role is necessary. Competency in a variety of nursing skills and clinical equipment management is essential. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if required by the assignment. References covering the past year of experience should be readily available for review. All travel nurses are expected to adhere to the operational policies and requirements of the facility. Candidates should be flexible and willing to work holidays as needed.
