POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse inventory operations. This role is responsible for managing the flow of inbound and outbound freight, maintaining accurate inventory records across customer-stored goods, and ensuring our warehousing operations run efficiently and accurately. This person will oversee at least one warehouse associate and report directly to the COO. We need someone who can step in immediately and take control of inventory from day one.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all aspects of warehouse inventory operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound shipment coordination
• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory counts across all customer-stored goods on warehouse racking systems
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies; investigate and resolve variances promptly
• Track and manage customer orders coming in and going out; ensure proper documentation and accuracy at every stage
• Utilize Extensiv (or comparable WMS) to manage inventory records, process orders, and generate reports
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to improve accuracy, reduce errors, and increase warehouse efficiency
• Coordinate with operations and transportation teams to align inventory movement with freight schedules
• Supervise and direct at least one warehouse associate; provide coaching, task delegation, and performance oversight
• Prepare inventory reports for leadership including stock levels, order activity, discrepancies, and trends
• Maintain organized and safe warehouse storage areas in compliance with company standards
• Identify process improvements and recommend operational changes to support business growth

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain in a logistics or 3PL environment
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE USING EXTENSIV WMS
• Strong understanding of cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse storage operations
• Experience with Extensiv (formerly Skubana/3PL Warehouse Manager) strongly preferred; experience with comparable WMS/inventory management software required
• Demonstrated ability to manage inbound/outbound freight flow and customer-stored inventory
• Supervisory experience — ability to lead, direct, and hold team members accountable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; inventory errors have direct financial and customer impact
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across operations, transportation, and customer-facing teams

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Fully on-site at our Flower Mound, TX warehouse
• Immediate start required
