Seeking UX Research Specialist in Austin, TX
An innovative Information Technology firm is on the lookout for a UX Research Specialist to become part of their dynamic team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for uncovering user needs and behaviors, playing a vital role in enhancing product design and functionality. This position is pivotal in influencing the creation of cutting-edge solutions that significantly improve the user experience. As a UX Research Specialist, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to perform user research, interpret data, and communicate findings. You will engage in a variety of projects, carrying out usability tests, surveys, and interviews to collect insights that drive product enhancements. Your knowledge will be instrumental in guiding project directions and ensuring they effectively cater to user requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to identify needs and preferences of target audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user insights into product development
- Perform usability testing, surveys, and interviews to gather valuable feedback
- Analyze research data and present actionable findings to stakeholders
- Support the design process with user-centered recommendations

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in user experience research or a similar role
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with UX design tools and software
