Job Overview:

This role is designed to maximize performance of the first-party Remarketing and Collections vendor by providing day-to-day operational support, analysis of KPI's, and customer focus and retention measurements, along with identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance business results. This individual would also be responsible for vendor compliance, training assessments, and ensuring alignment with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) strategy. In addition, this individual would be responsible for Post Termination Inventory management collaborating with all stakeholders (MBFS, MBUSA, Transport, and Repo Vendors) ensuring timely transportation and the sale of post termination inventory (lease and retail). Business travel to the vendor up to 20% may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated day-to-day operational support to ensure execution of desired. Remarketing and Collection strategy with a consistent focus on the customer. Provide regular feedback to on-site team, as well as, vendor’s program manager and team in a structured and timely fashion. (25%)
  • Ensure appropriate and timely response to all channels of customer feedback and provide analysis to identify training opportunities and process gaps. Interface with other departments to provide resolution to escalated customer inquiries in a timely manner. Utilize analysis as basis for implementation of actions to reduce escalations, eliminate customer pain points, and improve overall results. (15%)
  • Facilitate and execute all contract amendments in conjunction with Service Level Agreement, Limits Of Authority, and other modifications as needed. (5%)
  • Support Post Termination Inventory Management Coordinators who serve as liaison between MBFS and MBUSA supporting timely transportation and sale of post termination inventory. Monitor and complete post-term reports for inventory resolution to maintain regulatory and internal compliance requirements as well as service level agreements. Provide support in facilitating meetings and collaboration with all stakeholders (MBFS, MBUSA, Transport, Repo Vendors) to identify solution to trends and systematic issues that prevent efficient and timely processing of inventory. Performs other projects or special assignments as required. (10%)
  • Execute forecasting and training strategy with on-site team and vendor. (10%)
  • Provide account handling feedback and direction to vendor derived from account

reviews, listening to customer calls and reviewing available service level reports.

Ensure department goals are achieved including metrics for productivity and quality. (20%)

  • Ensure vendor and on-site team are compliant with all MBFS procedures and

are following guidelines established within the training material. Conduct

regular compliance audits. Present findings with recommendations and solutions

outlined with follow up in place for any action items. (15%)

Qualifikationen

Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will be provided for this position.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

  • Business-General: 5 years
  • Collections: 2 years
  • Credit:1 year
  • Customer Service: 1 year
  • Finance: 2 years
  • Remarketing: 2 years
  • Strategy: 1 year
  • Vendor Management: 2 years

Education:

High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

  • Accounting
  • Business Administration

Additional Knowledge:

  • 1 year Call Center experience preferred.
  • Call Center planning and forecasting preferred.
  • 3 years of management experience required.
