Business Systems Analyst-Epic

Lasalle is partnering with a Healthcare Company seeking an Epic Business Systems Analyst to join their team.

Location: Irving, TX 5x a week
Contract: 12 month contract with possible extensions
Compensation: $40-$43/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Epic and Epic module implementations to support healthcare IT projects across hospital and clinic environments. This individual will lead discovery sessions, gather and document business requirements, and serve as a key liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams.

This is a fully onsite role based in Irving, TX .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead meetings with clinical and operational leadership to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements

• Analyze and map current and future-state workflows and business processes

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Epic systems and modules , providing insight into system capabilities and configuration

• Support implementation and integration of Epic and third-party clinical applications (e.g., Sectra, Waystar, Capsule, Softbank)

• Produce project documentation such as:

• Project charters

• Status reports

• Meeting agendas and minutes

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with clinical needs

• Deliver all discovery artifacts and assist in project planning, testing, and go-live support

  Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with direct involvement in healthcare IT projects

  • Must have hands-on experience with Epic and Epic modules (implementation, support, optimization, or enhancement)

  • Experience working in healthcare provider settings (hospitals or clinics) – insurance experience will not be considered

  • Familiarity with third-party systems used in clinical departments (e.g., Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to clearly articulate technical and business concepts to diverse stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to produce professional documentation, process flows, and project deliverables

  Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , or a related field required at time of submission

  Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with systems integration across Epic and ancillary applications

  • Prior involvement in projects with potential for system conversions or enterprise rollouts

  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement abilities
