Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Enrollment Specialist for a temporary, full-time opportunity in San Juan, PR within the healthcare services industry. This role supports the full member enrollment process, including application review, eligibility validation, data accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and billing support.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 1 to 2 years of experience in a high-volume processing, customer support, call center, or administrative environment who enjoys structured work, accuracy, teamwork, and meeting production goals. The position offers a steady Monday-Friday schedule, hands-on experience in healthcare enrollment operations, and the opportunity to work with internal teams to help ensure members are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete the full cycle of member identification, validation, enrollment, and billing processes.
- Review customer applications to verify eligibility and confirm all required documentation is complete.
- Investigate application fallouts, system discrepancies, and enrollment issues to support timely resolution.
- Process enrollment applications accurately while meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Research and correct billing discrepancies and update member information in company systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve enrollment, documentation, and billing concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $13.00 to $13.50 per hour.
- Job Type: Temporary, full-time.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico.

- Review and process member enrollment applications from identification through billing.
- Verify eligibility, required documentation, and application accuracy.

- Maintain accurate member records and support quality and productivity goals.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production, high-volume processing, administrative, customer support, or call center environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong computer skills and accurate data entry abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in healthcare enrollment, member services, insurance, billing, or eligibility processing.
- Prior experience researching application discrepancies or correcting account information in internal systems.
- Familiarity with quality, accuracy, and productivity standards in a high-volume operations environment.
