Salesforce and Business App Developer (Contract)
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll focus on new application development—not legacy system maintenance . Working alongside an in-house Salesforce Architect, you'll own projects from development through deployment while helping deliver scalable business solutions that directly support company growth. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce applications and features
- Build scalable solutions supporting key business initiatives, including Order-to-Cash processes
- Develop Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and custom integrations
- Partner with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of new functionality
- Participate in code reviews and development best practices
- Support multiple concurrent development projects in a fast-paced environment
- Professional experience developing custom Salesforce applications
- Strong hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience building new Salesforce functionality rather than primarily administering existing environments
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent time management and ownership of assigned projects
- Experience supporting Order-to-Cash or Sales Cloud business processes
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and deployment tools
- Exposure to Agile software development environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- 6–9 month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent hire
- Onsite in Austin, TX (5 days per week)
