As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Utilities in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is an armed post requiring the appropriate certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Control access to restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect critical infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, local authorities, and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
• Remain alert to changing conditions in the location and adapt security-related duties accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current Level III Armed Certification if required by Texas regulations.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License; this is preferred but not required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
