• Unit: Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit (TICU) — Trauma ICU RN / Critical Care RN
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing assignment)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site: Yes
• On-Call: No on-call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,460 - $1,540 per week

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (ICU Registered Nurse / critical care RN)
• Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience; Trauma ICU experience preferred (Trauma ICU RN)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Preferred: TNCC or CATN certification
• Proficiency with GE bedside monitors, Alaris infusion pumps, and Meditech EMR
• Strong teamwork, clinical judgment, and ability to remain calm under pressure (critical care skills)
• Dress code: navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments for critically ill trauma patients
• Create, revise, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Administer and document medications and carry out physician orders accurately
• Recognize and escalate patient issues efficiently and appropriately
• Manage critical care procedures including EVDs/Bolts, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube management
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 to ensure high-quality critical care
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
