PRN Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Plastic Surgery Center

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PRN Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with direct plastic surgery experience to support our surgical team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, anticipates surgeon needs, and thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist with case setup, breakdown, and room turnover.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
- Support patient safety initiatives and regulatory compliance standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff.
Qualifications:
- Current CST certification required.
- Active Surgical Technologist registration (if required by state).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required.
- Recent plastic surgery experience required (cosmetic and/or reconstructive cases).
- Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plastic surgery instrumentation and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Schedule:
- PRN/Per Diem.Our surgery days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Flexible scheduling based on surgical volume.
