Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the dealership's accounting team by processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payment of accounts payable.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation while resolving discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances or payment issues.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience .
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday .

Preferred

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience .
• Experience working with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus
