Job Summary: The Energy Services Analyst/Associate is a multi-facet role contributing to scheduling and Trading activities, market analytics and market operations. The Analyst/Associate will be work with traders to schedule daily trades, report and analyze short and long-term trading positions, perform market operations to maintain LRE and asset market readiness in the ISOs and run point for the Capacity and REC portfolios. Essential Functions: - Submit trade schedules to the ISOs via Adapt 2 system for the generation fleet and all other trading activity (DA/RT, Virtuals, FTRs).
- Schedule and manage REC deliveries.
- Report daily risk positions to the traders based on market clearing and daily trading activities.
- Perform market analysis to assess efficiency of market offers and provide feedback to portfolio managers for potential offer strategy adjustment.
- Provide traders with market analysis and short-term trading opportunities.
- Manage all market readiness requirements with the ISOs ranging from asset registration, managing ISO capacity auctions and REC registrations.
- Manage post operational market activities with ISO's/RTO's.
- Coordinate with Project Execution and Compliance to ensure the market readiness process is seamless for Energy Services.
- Lead asset ISO asset registration process allowing for transition to commercial operation.
Qualifications: - 1 to 3 years' experience as a scheduler or market analyst.
- Ability to analyze and organize data to drive solutions and action plans.
- Strong analytical and IT skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple information requests.
- Ability to meet deadlines and organize workflows.
- Must hold Bachelors Degree in Business or STEM.
- Proficient with Excel, Power Point and Word
Physical Demands: - This position will travel 20% of time
- Position will require sitting for long periods of time as well as occasionally lifting up to twenty-pound boxes.
