Day Shift | 13-Week Contract | Immediate Opening
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Rehab assignment in Waco, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with experience in rehabilitation nursing, med-surg, post-acute care, or inpatient rehab settings who are passionate about helping patients recover and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and discharge care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Support patients recovering from surgery, injury, stroke, or illness
• Ensure accurate charting and communication during shift handoffs

Requirements
• Active RN License (Texas or Compact State License)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN Rehab or Med-Surg experience preferred
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation or post-acute care settings preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Travel nursing experience is a plus
