Payroll Specialist
Must be on site - Not Hybrid or Remote What You Must Have:
- High school diploma or its equivalent required;
- Minimum of three years experience in payroll; multi-state experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable navigating through Department of Labor and other complex regulations
- Ability to work with other employees and provide customer focused support for field agencies
- Experience with implementation of an HCM/HRIS/HRMS strongly preferred
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities efficiently and consistently
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy
- Organized work habits, ability to multi task with accuracy, and proven attention to detail, with strong analytical skills

- Process all employee related personnel data for multiple agencies, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with policy.
- Process multi-state payroll on a semi-monthly schedule
- Ability to work with multiple department to ensure proper and accurate data reporting
- Ability to navigate in HCM and EMR system for timekeeping and payroll processing
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance for any I9’s, tax document or other personnel documents
- Provide excellent customer service to all employees and team members
- Serves as liaison between Home Office HR and all other field agencies to influence proactive administration and ensure all approvals or deadlines are communicated for appropriate staff members
- Produce excel reports and create ad hoc ADP reports as needed for quality control purposes
- Participate in preparing training materials, HR meetings or participate in other projects related to all areas of HR
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
