- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Initial 23 weeks; MondayFriday daytime schedule, including on-unit mentorship with a seasoned LVN Regular schedule; Alternating shifts to meet facility staffing needs Every other weekend off Flexible start dates (MondayFriday),with a minimum of 5 business days required for pre-employment processing
- Rate: $33$36/hr Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN program
- Active, unrestricted LVN or LPN license in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in behavioral health or long-term care preferred
- Must comply with agency & facility requirements, including drug screening & FBI fingerprint background check
- Must comply with agency and facility immunization requirements
- Must complete all required facility and agency training requirements Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with facility protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and patient medication education.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
- Perform computer data entry and other clinical tasks as required. (full training will be provided).
- Comply with SOPs and all applicable regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, agency, and facility policies).
- Collaborate effectively with RNs, nurse managers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
