Warehouse Worker
The primary role of a warehouse worker is to efficiently receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
Responsibilities- Receive and count stock items, recording data either manually or using a computer.
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with a detail-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years of experience required.
The warehouse operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. It is essential to maintain a clean and organized space to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
