Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent Needed

Traveling Superintendent for Commercial Construction small to medium single-story projects RESPOND WITH RESUME TO INCLUDE: WORK HISTORY, CONTACT PHONE NUMBER, REFERENCES AND PAY HISTORY. RGC is interviewing experienced commercial superintendents and foremen for immediate placement in fast paced projects. Heavy experience in Grocery remodel and Office remodels a big plus. Must be able to think weeks ahead, foresee obstacles and be able to manage onsite around these issues, not looking for crisis management. You will be working very closely with an offsite Project Manager to ensure projects are running smoothly, scheduled properly, subs are performing, meet with customers on occasion, perform take-offs, verify measurements and anything else needed to complete each job. We are looking for someone who can motivate an entire job site, increase productivity with the ability to also recognize inferior work and correct it before it is too late. You MUST have experience in commercial retail remodels preferably in grocery store and office building atmospheres. You will be supervising but may also be needed to help jump in on small projects with framing metal studs, ceiling grid, etc. Looking for an EXPERT in commercial construction to lead projects. Requirements:

• Must Schedule and follow through all inspections and project finals
• Must Document daily construction activities and submit a Daily log online
• Must review and submit time sheets each week for all supervised employees and submit all receipts weekly
• Daily progress reports and pictures uploaded as required by project
• Must be able to travel to locations all over Texas (home every two weeks if traveling)
• Must have several verifiable years performing work in the field for commercial construction.
• Must have minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
• Must be computer literate (basic word, excel and email skills)
• Must have commercial remodel construction experience
• Must be drug free and willing to submit to drug testing.
• Must have reliable truck/transportation - company truck or other option possible later.
• Must have own small hand tools ie. Cordless drill, circular saw, etc.
• Must have clear communication skills
• Bilingual is a positive but is not required
