Overview

HHSC seeks one seasoned ERP Developer to support PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2—focused on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing—covering end-to-end solution design, development, integrations, data conversion (ETL), and documentation. You’ll collaborate with a large, primarily remote team to deliver stable, well-documented features and interfaces to/from third-party systems. Strong communication, analysis, and SDLC discipline are essential. Some off-hours work may be required during critical phases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs, technical specs, and unit-tested PeopleSoft solutions.
  

• Design, build, and optimize AR/Billing customizations, Application Engine processes, and integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML) via Integration Broker.
  

• Lead ETL efforts to convert legacy data into PeopleSoft and implement new inbound/outbound interfaces.
  

• Write performant SQL/PL/SQL against Oracle and automate with Linux shell scripting.
  

• Apply AWE for approvals, follow standard SDLC practices, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  

• Collaborate through MS Teams with a large, distributed team; support releases that may require occasional off-hours.
  

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements (Required):

• 8 yrs – PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable & Billing expertise.
  

• 8 yrs – PeopleTools development ( PeopleCode, Application Packages, Application Engine, COBOL, SQR ).
  

• 8 yrs – Integration Broker ( REST, SOAP, JSON, XML ).
  

• 8 yrs – Advanced SQL & PL/SQL on Oracle .
  

• 8 yrs – Linux OS scripting .
  

• 8 yrs – AWE (Approval Workflow Engine).
  

• 8 yrs – Business requirements analysis and technical design documentation .
  

• 8 yrs – Experience with Microsoft O365 apps ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio ; at least four).
  

• 8 yrs – Experience using MS Teams in a large team setting.
  

Preferred:

• 4 yrs – Public sector (Federal/State/Local) experience.
  

• 2 yrs – State of Texas CPA CAPPS Financials .
  

• 2 yrs – Treasury Offset Program (TOP) .
