Preferred Physical Therapy is a locally owned, community-focused outpatient physical therapy clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a small business, we value meaningful relationships with our patients and strive to create a welcoming environment where every individual feels cared for and respected.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and understands that in a small clinic every role matters. Our ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, professional, and willing to step in wherever needed to support both our patients and our team.
- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment
- Answering incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
- Reviewing and processing incoming faxes
- Creating and maintaining patient profiles within our electronic medical record system
- Creating physician and referral source profiles
- Verifying insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
- Scheduling new and existing patient appointments
- Managing appointment changes and helping maintain an efficient clinic schedule
- Processing lymphedema compression garment orders
- Processing lymphedema pump orders
- Communicating professionally with patients, physicians, vendors, and insurance companies
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Tracking and following up on multiple administrative tasks throughout the day
- Assisting with light clinic duties when needed, including making coffee, watering plants, tidying the reception area, and other small tasks that contribute to a welcoming environment
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations
