Job Overview
Digital Matrix Systems (DMS) is looking for a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer with a track record of building innovative, resilient software solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of full life cycle development projects, leading initiatives from concept to deployment, with a strong emphasis on front-end development. This is a hands-on position that blends technical leadership with individual contribution, offering the opportunity to shape mission-critical enterprise AWS cloud applications in a collaborative and evolving software development landscape.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and develop scalable, high-volume enterprise applications using .NET technologies that follow modern architecture best practices.
- Lead and own the full software development lifecycle from technical design through implementation. As well as being an individual contributor on some projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Engage in design and code reviews, technical assessments, and hands-on development.
- Continually evaluate technology effectiveness and interoperability of complex systems, influencing roadmap of applications and platforms.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on core systems, providing guidance to other team members.
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning innovative technologies, and mentoring other members of the team.
- Promote modern software development patterns and practices that promote simplicity, understanding, reuse, and security.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of development experience.
- Proven skills in enterprise software design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Demonstrated expertise leading projects, designing, and developing enterprise solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical issues and solutions to peers and stakeholders.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay on top of emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience

Telecommute/Remote Requirements:
- Must have access to adequate high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 50 Mpbs, to ensure reliable, consistent connection to the company’s network without interruptions.

- Ability to work in an individual environment with remote support and without regular or consistent in person interaction.
- Comfortable corresponding via phone and video for team interaction and development.
