Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic partner marketer to join America’s Partner Marketing team. As a Partner Marketing Manager at Equinix, you will work closely with our most strategic partners in the ecosystem including Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) and other emerging partners with the goal to drive mutual growth through our multi-cloud networking solutions, distributed AI, and high performance data center solutions. This role will develop a deep understanding of Equinix’s organizational priorities, GTM strategy for partners, and channel sales alignment to develop, plan and execute an integrated regional partner marketing plan enabled through marketing investment. The role will be the primary partner marketing lead working cross functionally internally and externally to drive and execute against quarterly marketing plan to build pipeline.
This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate will have creative marketing ideas to combine with extensive analytic and data-driven demand generation experience in working with and through various partner types. Ability to effectively communicate, adapt along the way and demonstrate impact. The candidate should detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and an evolving landscape in the market.
Responsibilities
Develops and executes the joint partner marketing plan inclusive of budget, integrated marketing activities, global partner communications to drive demand generation and build pipeline
Manages multiple top tier partners within the ecosystem based on the maturity and readiness of strategic partnership between the partner and Equinix.
Develops joint value proposition between Equinix and partner, understands the value of why and how why we are coming together to deliver joint solutions for customers and prospects
Produces foundational content and collateral (solution briefs, whitepapers, videos, etc.) for covered partners
Collaborates with field marketing, global and alliance partner marketing, partner program, finance, channel sales, product marketing to ensure cross functional alignment and coordinated approach with quarterly partner marketing plans with partners
Serves as the SME for partner marketing, advising and sharing across the organization on how partners will support overall revenue growth
Reports partner marketing performance results as part of regular cadence, lives in the data, and is able to extract insights to inform planning and execution
Qualifications
Self-starter motivated by change, with a focus on driving progress over perfection
Extensive knowledge and expertise in channel partnerships, including VARs, distribution, strategic outsourcers, systems integrators, and cloud service providers
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze business, partnership, sales, and marketing performance to inform plans and recommendations
Strong communicator and collaborator, adept at working across teams and sharing best practices
Skilled in joint planning with partners, demonstrating influence and driving execution
Curious mindset with a willingness to adapt and a desire for personal and professional growth
Capable of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders effectively
