Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a 3rd shift Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be the go-to expert for ensuring the reliability of our complex automated machinery while also rebuilding gearboxes and pneumatic systems, configuring advanced VFDs and diagnosing PLC systems. In this role, you won't just be fixing machines; you’ll be the primary guardian of our facility’s efficiency and safety. salary: $73,000 - $90,000 per year

work hours: 9 PM - 5 AM

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of all manufacturing equipment.
• C omplete scheduled PMs and inspect main power cabinets to detect potential failures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including 480 VAC 3-phase motors, control circuits, and motor control centers while adhering to NEC requirements.
• Diagnose and Troubleshoot PLC input/output cards, replace and configure Servo drives/motors, VFDs, and HMIs.
• Rebuild and service complex mechanical components including gearboxes, pneumatic clutches, shafts, bearings, and couplings.
• Establish electrical fixtures, conduit, panels, and breakers; also interprets complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering sketches.
• Must have expereince and be capable of using digital applications such as Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
