Production Lead
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food-grade or chemical manufacturing, a sharp focus on safety and quality, and excellent leadership skills to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards
- Lead and coach a team of production workers and machine operators
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Enforce compliance with all safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements (GMP, HACCP, FDA, etc.)
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products
- Prepare shift reports and escalate issues to plant management
- Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or food processing environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and production protocols (e.g., GMP, HACCP, FDA)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree is a plus
