Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and personable Dental Treatment Coordinator who is also a RDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring patients understand their treatment options, feel supported in their decisions, and are guided seamlessly through the financial and scheduling aspects of their care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and explain treatment plans and financing options to patients.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.
- Ensure patients fully understand proposed treatment, benefits, and risks.
- Collaborate with clinical and front office teams to optimize patient experience.
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with financial arrangements.
- Follow up on pending treatments and reactivation of inactive patients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in Dentrix Ascend.
- Assist in dental procedures with the office is busy or when required.
- Is able to take x-rays and help with sterilization and preparing the operatories when needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of dental office experience required.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance.
- Experience with Dentrix Ascend preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
