You are: As a Security Vulnerability or Cyber Threat Intelligence professional with experience in vulnerability intelligence and risk mitigation, you will be responsible for developing various written products on evaluating vulnerability intelligence or developing tailored mitigation strategies, improvement plans, and actionable insights based on vulnerabilities identified through various open and closed source data sets. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of the customer's and its ecosystem partners cybersecurity posture by identifying, acquiring, and verifying data requirements to facilitate thorough analysis.
The work:
- Lead Risk Management/ Continuous Monitoring activities to support ongoing or new system authorizations
- Develops, maintains, and reviews system documentation to implement required security controls, including the System Security Plan, Security Categorization, Risk Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessment, Contingency Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Track, report and provide recommendations on Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)
- Identify unique system characteristics, interview key organizational personnel, compose requisite documentation.
- Coordinates or directs security engineer actions to satisfy security control requirements.
- Participates in change control boards and assessments.
- Serves as project manager for assigned systems from a continuous monitoring perspective.
- Analyzes vulnerability scans and audit logs.
- Prepares CSP hosted or provided systems for agency authorization.
Here's what you need:
- 3-5 years of direct ISSO experience working within the NIST RMF. **Not supervised or over saw ISSO efforts, but actually performed the work.**
- Must possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e., cybersecurity, defensive cyber operations, computer science, etc.)from an accredited university.
- Knowledge of Federal Cyber Security policy/guidance including OMB, Executive Orders, NIST 800 Series
- Experience related to one of the following: risk assessments, security controls development, or compliance readiness
- Must be able to demonstrate mastery of FEDRAMP and RMF processes, procedures, and concepts
- At least one current professional security certification from one of the following: CISSP, GSLC, CASP, or Security +
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience preparing for or conducting a NIST, FEDRAMP, or security assessment
- Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance tools and platforms
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role :
California: $73,900 - $196,500
Colorado: $73,900 - $169,700
New York: $68,400 - $196,500
Washington State: $78,600 - $180,700
