Cashiers play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service by efficiently processing transactions and handling various payment methods. Working within a large team of 10 or more, cashiers report directly to the Store Manager and ensure smooth checkout experiences for customers.
Responsibilities
- Process cash and electronic payments accurately
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in retail or customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cash handling skills
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
